I truly loved your Day 28 blog. Thank you for inspiring us Anne Marie. Between my twin sister and I, we have written a dozen short blogs this past year relating to sustainable food. We are starting to see these posted on the website of a local sustainability org called Green Goals. I am hoping we can have some impact on people's habits. I beleive once you commit to making a few individual changes you get the courage to influence government to make the bigger changes.
Thank you very much! Your ripples are already spreading out. I agree, once you make some individual changes, you're more likely to push for bigger change. Bans on plastic straws were never only about straws, for example.
Thanks for the link to the Plastic Free Life. I am a conscious consumer but sometimes the acquisition of the plastic packaging is unavoidable. I live in a condo with a community trash room and see the need for education about what is recyclable. I got some posters from the city, but it appears most people are not motivated to do the right thing. Depressing.

Well said. Our own individual choices can lead to reducing both our carbon footprint and also our "carbon shadow"... https://www-mic-com.cdn.ampproject.org/c/s/www.mic.com/impact/forget-your-carbon-footprint-lets-talk-about-your-climate-shadow/amp
